サムスン、分離可能な「ウデンワ」端末を特許出願

イラストはサムスンが米国で出願した「腕(手首)に着用可能な携帯端末」発明。腕時計型端末は昔からさまざまなものが登場しては(主に外見のみっともなさと実用性から)消えてきましたが、こちらのポイントは端末が2つの部分に分かれており、分離可能とすることで操作性を改善、ひとつの部分にバッテリーやユーザーインターフェースや通信モジュールなどすべてを詰め込む必要がなくデザイン的にも有利といったもの。

イラストの携帯電話？の例は極端として手に持って普通に操作できる程度の大きさのものを手首に巻く気にはあまりなれませんが、腕がチャージステーション・腕がドックになるガジェットはごく一部で需要があるかもしれません。
