Wiiに「自作ソフトチャンネル」ハック

「トワイライト・ハック」以来急展開の続くWiiハックにまた進展がありました。上はTeam Twiizersが公開した動画より、Wiiメニューに独自の「チャンネル」を追加するもの。上の例では純正Miiチャンネルのアイコンを使用していますが、開始すると自作ソフトローダーが起動します。

デモ動画は「続きを読む」に掲載。手順としてはSDカードから自作ソフトローダーをWii本体にコピー、ゼルダを起動してトワイライトハックでチャンネル化・再起動、Wiiメニューに戻ればローダーチャンネルが追加されているという仕組み。またトワイライトハックは先日公開された0.1alphaよりWiiの前面SDカードスロットに対応したため、ゲームキューブメモリカードスロット用のSDカードアダプタは不要となっています。

チャンネルとして追加した後どうなるのかいろいろと問いつめてみたいデモですが、今のところ詳細は非公開、コードも未リリース。新情報が届きしだいお伝えします。
